National Institute of Construction Management and Research is also known as NICMAR is a non-profit educational institution that offers admissions across UG, PG, and Ph.D levels. NICMAR admissions are provided based on the NCAT entrance exam, academic performance, and work experience followed by an interview. 

Apart from this, NICMAR Pune also offers a 5-year MBA Integrated program. Students seeking NICMAR Pune admissions must meet the eligibility criteria for the course of their choice.

For NICMAR Pune PG admissions, scores of the aspirants appearing for CUET PG / MH-CET / CAT / MAT / XAT / NMAT / ATMA will be considered as an alternative for PG-NCAT (Written Test) for MBA & PGD programs. Scores of GATE (AR / Civil) will be considered as an alternative to PG-NCAT (Written Test) for the M.Plan program.

Applications are scrutinized and eligibility is established on the basis of the documents submitted. Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises the Under Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (UG-NCAT) and a Personal Interview (PI).

Valid scores of UGAT / IPMAT (IIM Indore) / CUET UG will be considered as an alternative for UG-NCAT for the BBA/BBA (Hons.)/Integrated MBA program. For B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, valid scores of JEE / MH CET / PERA / CUET UG / Other States CET will be considered as an alternative for UG-NCAT.

For candidates appearing in the NCAT & another additional entrance exam (as mentioned above), the highest score between these exams will be considered for final merit. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit. Admission offer letters are issued in the order of merit.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, for the candidates from reserved category)
• Passed three years of D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
• Passed a minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability candidates).

BBA/BBA (Hons) Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 2024.
• Minimum Percentage (%) of marks: Candidate should have a minimum of 50% in standard X/SSC (45% for the candidates from reserved category) and should have passed standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations with a Minimum of 50% marks (45% for the candidates from reserved category).

B.Arh Eligibility Criteria

• Qualify for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) / JEE Paper 2 (NTA).
• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for the candidates from reserved category). OR
• Passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for the candidates from reserved category).

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates with a regular bachelor’s degree (minimum three years) in any discipline or a Master's (mandatory two years) in any discipline from a recognized Institution / University are eligible to apply.
• Candidates seeking admission are required to have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the candidates from the reserved category) at graduation / post-graduation level. Final-year-eligible graduating students can also apply. However, such candidates must complete their Graduation / Post graduation before the commencement of the program.

M.Plan Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates with a regular bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Construction Technology / Planning / Urban Design/master's Degree in Geomatics / Geo-informatics / Geographical Information System / Masters Degree (or equivalent) in Geography, Economics or Sociology from a recognized Institution / University are eligible.
• Candidates seeking admission are required to have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the candidates from the reserved category) at graduation level. Final-year-eligible graduating students can also apply. However, such candidates must have completed (passed) their Graduation before the commencement of the program.

The application form is predominantly conducted online, interested candidates can find the application form on the home page of the official website. The application fee for the UG Programs for single, double, and triple program preferences is INR 1000, INR 1200, and INR 1400 respectively.

Similarly, if one wishes to apply for PG Programs, then the application fee for the single, double, and triple program preferences is INR 2000, INR 2200, and INR 2400 respectively.
