  • After my Pre university course I wrote CET which is entrance test for government seats in medical and engineering colleges. The process was to put in the option of colleges & course in that college you like and then depending on rank and seats available government would allocate seat . And after getting allotment letter we had to take it to college and get admitted.

There is an eligibility criterion, you should be having 45% aggregate in physics, chemistry, and maths. You should be from science (maths) background. There are two exams to get in this college COMEDK and CET. COMEDK for students from all India and CET for students from Karnataka. The cutoff is 33000 rank for COMEDK. Here are the details you asked for:

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.E
Students who have completed 10+2 with good marks in academics. CET or COMED-K exams to be compulsory taken.

DURATION
B.E degree extends over a period of four academic years.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses: The student should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC/12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A,2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR MANAGEMENT QUOTA ADMISSIONS

  • SSLC or 10th Standard or its equivalent marks card (Original)
