NEET Total Marks 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for facilitating the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG. NEET provides an opportunity for many aspiring medical students to be a part of undergraduate medical programs nationwide.

NEET 2024 is set to facilitate admissions to a substantial number of seats, including over 1 lakh MBBS seats, 28,088 BDS seats, 52,720 AYUSH seats, 525 BVSc seats, and AH seats in colleges across India.

The exam is conducted in a traditional pen-and-paper format, accommodating all registered candidates. While the total marks for NEET 2024 is 270, these marks are further distributed by each subject. 360 marks are set for Biology, 180 marks are allocated for Physics, and another 180 marks are designated for Chemistry. NEET Passing Marks 2024

The NEET cutoff 2024 for general category candidates, is set at the 50th percentile. At the same time, the percentile cutoff for SC/ST/OBC candidates and general-PH aspirants are at the 40th and 45th percentile, respectively.

Based on the previous year’s data, general category candidates are required to score between 720 and 137 to pass, while SC/ST/OBC candidates had a passing range of 136 to 107. Notably, the category-specific NEET 2024 cutoff marks will be announced alongside the exam results.

1. Cross-verify the answers after the release of the NEET official answer key 2024
2. Keep a check on the code of the NEET 2024 question paper and match it with the answer key during cross-verification.
3. Locate the set and language of the answer key, which can be found at the top of both the answer key and the OMR sheet.
4. While verifying the answers look for both correct and incorrect options. Note that questions with multiple answers marked will be treated as unanswered.
