KCET Pharmacy 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to pursue B.Pharm through KCET must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. In case of any discrepancy, the candidature will be jeopardised. Nonetheless, here are some of the eligibility criteria candidates must abide by.
- Nationality – any candidate applying for admissions must be an Indian citizen. Candidates belonging to OCI, PIO, NRI, and FNC categories are also eligible.
- Age Limit – Candidates must have complete an age of 17 years before applying in that particular year.
- Qualifying Exam – It is mandatory for candidates to atleast qualify for the 10+2 level examination. Also, candidates who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy from any institution recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India can apply for KCET.
- Score in Qualifying Exam – Candidates must have an aggregate score of 45% in the qualifying exam with compulsory PCM/PCB subjects. Reserved category candidates must have 40% in the minimum score.
- Compulsory Subjects in the Qualifying Exam – Candidates must have studied Maths, Chemistry, and Physics to apply for applying in B.Pharm. However, candidates can choose Biology instead of Mathematics to pursue Pharm D.
