Placements and Internships
If we talk about the placements and internships then Chandigarh University is well known for that among Asia. Moreover, even during this pandemic also CU is the only University in which around 700 companies approached for the placements. The highest salary package offered was INR 14 LPA and the average salary offered for B.Sc Economics was around INR 8 LPA. On average, 98% of students got placed under the branch of B.Sc Economics.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The infrastructure of the hostel is remarkable and the histel fees is INR 86,000 per annum. There are many PG's and flats around the campus. Food in college and mess are awesome and prepared with proper sanitization. The facilities include spacious classrooms, high tech labs, 24*7 Wifi, and ambulance & dispensary facility.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
It's very easy to take admission in Chandigarh University: firstly, you can apply for CUCET, which is the common entrance examination for admission. For B.Sc Economics, the eligibility criteria is you must have mathematics and economics in your senior secondary education with more than 50% of marks.
Academics and Faculty
Our classes start at 9:30 am. The course curriculum includes assignments and projects.
Method of teaching is totally modern, and they use PPTs and smart boards as a medium of teaching, and the quality of teaching is the best because they prefer more practical based learning than the theoretical one.
My overall experience is the best.
Fees and Scholarships
University Business School, [UBS] Chandigarh Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 30,000 per semester.
If you score more than 80% in your senior secondary education then there will be a relaxation of 10% in your academic fee. Secondly, if you score more than 85% then the percentage of relaxation will be will get upto 100% scholarship in your academic fee. On average, 7 out of 10 are having the scholarship.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility is a 10+2 examination with at least 50% of marks, conducted by a recognized board or its equivalent examination. In addition, the applicant must have studied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Commerce, Business, or Economics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level. I gave CUCET exam. And above 755 is the basic cutoff.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for B.Sc Economics is that we should have opted for both maths and economics in our senior secondary education. Normally, to take admission to CU there is an exam mainly known as CUCET but I didn't give that exam. I have just filled the form online with required documents and after some days I got the call from CU confirming my eligibility for this course. There are no cutoffs but you should have a good score and even an opportunity that if you are having more 80% then you can get some sort of relaxation on the academic fees (commonly known as scholarships).
