College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Chandigarh University provides the best hostel facility for students. The food served is very hygienic and prepared by expert cooks. A huge sports complex is also there on the premises. Food zone is one of the most attractive features of CU in which food is served by big chains like Dominos, Subway, CCD, and many more. The infrastructure of our College (USB, Chandigarh University) is super amazing.
The facilities and infrastructure of the institute complement its academic ecosystem. The institute’s classrooms, laboratories, library, and seminar hall serve, support, and enhance the teaching-learning process.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility is a 10+2 examination with at least 50% of marks, conducted by a recognized board or its equivalent examination. In addition, the applicant must have studied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Commerce, Business, or Economics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level.
I gave CUCET exam. And above 755 is the basic cutoff.
Academics and Faculty
The daily routine for students at Chandigarh University starts at 9:30 am, and no student is allowed to move around the class. The faculty is supportive. You even have mentors for various projects. The facility is always ready to help students, and they focus more on practical based learning.
Experts and reviews design the course curriculum at different levels for approval. The curriculum provides industry-specific knowledge to the students, and that would be helpful for on-campus placement and internship. Most importantly, industrial visits are organized every semester for classes separately.

In addition, there are many social groups and clubs for students other than academics.
The campus is located in a very nice environment having clean surroundings. Proper security measures are taken outside the campus. Campus life is the best part of students' life at CU.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : It's very easy to take admission in Chandigarh University: firstly, you can apply for CUCET, which is the common entrance examination for admission. For B.Sc Economics, the eligibility criteria is you must have mathematics and economics in your senior secondary education with more than 50% of marks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for B.Sc Economics is that we should have opted for both maths and economics in our senior secondary education. Normally, to take admission to CU there is an exam mainly known as CUCET but I didn't give that exam. I have just filled the form online with required documents and after some days I got the call from CU confirming my eligibility for this course. There are no cutoffs but you should have a good score and even an opportunity that if you are having more 80% then you can get some sort of relaxation on the academic fees (commonly known as scholarships).
