Placements and Internships

5

The internship can be done from 3rd year with a stipend of 15,000 average salaries.

You can get jobs in a reputed medicals field.

The Average salary for MBBS is INR 80,000 to 1 Lakh and the highest salary ranges between INR 6 to 9 Lakh.

The percentage should be around 70%.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The eligibility criteria for my course, the student must have a minimum of 50% in the 12th board and also they should have a qualified the NEET exam with good marks.

I took the NEET entrance examination conducted by NTA.

The cut-off,

  • For the general category, it is around 490+
  • For OBC it is 450+
  • For ST/SC it is 350+

Academics and Faculty

4.5

It's quite good with a daily healthy routine that can be maintained easily and smoothly.

Quality of teaching is way too good for highly qualified doctors and professors.

Overall experience in college is good.

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

Very few scholarships.

Not needed and if needed it's a bit hard to avail of a loan.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I had to clear NEET 2017 exam to enter this premier institute of Northeast India. My state rank was 35 in all Assam so I could easily get a seat in this college, which is supposed to be the toughest college to get admitted to MBBS for a general category student. Admission procedure was quite lengthy and I had to present a lot of documents for verification. The administrative block of GMCH manages the admission procedure nicely with due discipline and harmony.
