After pursuing BA (Hons) English from LU, you could easily get the job in varied fields such as teaching, or in press/media as well. As far as myself is concerned, I started writing blogs/articles on the social media platform for the U.P. government just after accomplishing my graduation with a good salary package.
Popular hostels nearby, Tagore Library, girls common room inside the premises, number of canteens, and long parking just outside the English department. All add up to our wonderful memories!!
Lucknow University, one of the oldest universities in India, proudly provides its scholars with many elite courses; one such course is BA (Hons) English. Passed out in 2011, ours was the 2nd batch of this newly embedded course in the varsity! Well, the admission was based on the merit- cut off around 80% marks in Intermediate, with around 40 seats in the year 2008. ( At present, it might vary!) Regular classes, proficient professors, elegant ambience, access to library and proper notes and guidance by our lecturers-we had it all! So friends! Get on with English Honors from the University of Lucknow to build your career bright. All the best
Those 3 years were a wonderful experience indeed! Quality and method of teaching was extremely satisfactory.
Around 10 years ago, the course fee was approximately Rs 40,000/- as it is a Self Finance course though it might definitely vary at present time!
Occasionally were held a number of seminars and academic programs, where the students of LU could interact with the foreign delegates and scholars of other International universities. It was a great experience for us as the students!
