The placement record are quite impressive for departments like fashion technology, biotechnology, computer science engineering and information technology. The average package is 3.5 lacs. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, bosch, decathlon, oxylane visits for campus recruitment. The college as an alumni relations and association that is always ready to help the fellow juniors.
Hostel fees: Rs 80000/- (including food) Hostel infrastructure for ug students is very poor. For pg students it's good. Only vegetarian food is available in hostel and campus, though one can order non-veg from outside. For ug students staying at pg is recommended, because they have good infrastructure and its cheap. The library of kct campus is splendid and has free WiFi too. The labs are fully equipped and are updated regularly in few depts (automobile, electronics and instrumentation)
The admission can be done either in government quota (GQ) or in management quota(MQ). 1. Admission through government quota happens at Anna University based on 12th marks (PCM cut off). 2. The college conducts an entrance test and based on its mark one has to pay accordingly to get admission. I am currently studying fashion technology in KCT and I got admission through GQ(open category) . My cut off was 191.5.
The college functions from 8.30 am- 4.45 pm. The quality of teaching is quite good. The teaching staffs provide notes and ppts during exams. Assignments can be in written format or activity based. Besides academics, there are several active clubs and forums in college.

Its a private college the fees are quite expensive. Fees: GQ & MQ: 80000 rs A scholarship of 10,000rs is given to 10 students in a class of 60 based on their semester marks. One can avail the loan easily from any bank.
There are several clubs and forums in college. Clubs like qubate, Society of Indian Languages (SOIL), NCC, NSS, YRC, Varnam, studio kct etc are the well-known clubs. Forums like Re (it's a research forum that provides funding too), YUVA are the forums. Yugam is the techno-cultural fest that happens during February, its one of the largest college fests of South India. Inspire India YouthCon is South India's first student organised conclave that happens in January /February.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I went in through counselling. They also have entrance exams, and students can also get in through management if they have engineering cut off of about 140+. I didnt prepare for any entrance exams. Students with engineering cut off of 182+ can easily get to choose the course in the counselling process.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for my course (B.E Civil Engineering) is 160/200 cutoff. You don't have to write any entrance examinations. The admissions are completely based on your Higher Secondary Examination (12th) marks.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : No eligibility criteria and counselling procedure are carried on merit basis. No entrance exam. 194 is the cutoff mark.
