Hostel fees: Rs 80000/- (including food) Hostel infrastructure for ug students is very poor. For pg students it's good. Only vegetarian food is available in hostel and campus, though one can order non-veg from outside. For ug students staying at pg is recommended, because they have good infrastructure and its cheap. The library of kct campus is splendid and has free WiFi too. The labs are fully equipped and are updated regularly in few depts (automobile, electronics and instrumentation)
The college functions from 8.30 am- 4.45 pm. The quality of teaching is quite good. The teaching staffs provide notes and ppts during exams. Assignments can be in written format or activity based. Besides academics, there are several active clubs and forums in college.

Its a private college the fees are quite expensive. Fees: GQ & MQ: 80000 rs A scholarship of 10,000rs is given to 10 students in a class of 60 based on their semester marks. One can avail the loan easily from any bank.

The college conducts an entrance test and based on its mark one has to pay accordingly to get admission. I am currently studying fashion technology in KCT and I got admission through GQ(open category) . My cut off was 191.5.

The eligibility criteria for KCT is qualification of class 12. The government quota seats will be alloted through Anna University counseling and the remaining management seats will be filled by a small interview at the college.The cut off for government quota seats will be usually above 94 percent.

The college organises some special events every day. We have 31 clubs, and they initiate many events. The best part of the year is the event named Yugam, which is the grand festival and cultural heritage of our college. This event is the best platform to learn and celebrate. They make us organise this event and help us gain some experience in organising events. That experience would be very beneficial for us.
One of the best catering is done in our college. The hostel food is really awesome and a valid minimal fee is charged.
As far as the faculty members are concerned, they literally care for each and every student. They are in-charges, and they help with our project and study discussions. They will make themselves available to help us anytime even though they have many important things to do. They give us the first priority.

For management quota students I am a mechanical engineering student for this I had to pay INR 110000 per year. Mahatma Gandhi scholarship is available for loan.
I didn't do any internship the placement is good for CSE AND IT the placement also good for core branch also but it is less than IT or CSE alumni network is good.
