Placements and Internships
I have done internship at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Combined Hospital Lucknow for 6 months. I was paid stipend of 7500/mnth. There are as such no key companies. We have to apply in hospitals and undergo through an interview. Average salary varies from hospital to hospital. But it starts from 1,80,000pa. There is no alumini network but our professionals remain connected.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I had given UPCPMT in 2012 to get admission in University-affiliated medical colleges.The eligiblilty criteria for the upcpmt exam was 50% in 12th with Biology, Physics , Chemistry and English as subjects. Admission procedure included exam and counseling. The cutoff for the courses were 120 at that time.
Fees and Scholarships
Being govt college fees was 26000 rs. There are govt scholarships being provided. 20 out of 30 students get the scholarship. Loans, if needed by the student, are provided by the banks . And the loans are provided very easily for medical studies and can be paid in easy installments.
