The placements in this college is degrading every year as per the job cutoffs in the nation irrespective of any political intolerance. Any individual irrespective of any branch of Engineering are stipulated to get into IT sector job. Core companies recruit with a cutoff of 90% in your 12th and having a 9.5 or 9 GPA till current semester. Most of the companies recruit as per your coding and Aptitude skills irrespective of any Department. Initially the companies recruit for GE( Graduate Engineer) profile and later ends up with giving a profile related to Marketing and Sales Application Engineering. The highest package till date for the current 2k18 batch is 12Lac and 7 Lac + incentive offered by Think and Learn - Byjus for a role of Business development ( Sales). Average salary for this year will be more or less 3.5 to 4 CTC.

There are total 6 hostels which is equally segregated among the boys and girls. The hostel fees is 75k and mess fees is around 65k per year for any hostel you choose. The food facilities are something which is completely self-opinionated and self-driven. The people from North of the nation will have a verdict of unappetizing and flavorless food because of their non-adaptive food habits from North. The quality of classrooms are pretty decent but lot of buildings are having less number of lifts. Half of the equipments in the labs are not working and non- verified by the higher officials. Canteen food is pretty good and hygiene compared to the hotel one.

The eligibility criteria was decent and Orthodox unlike any other private institutions in India. You need to have 75% aggregate of your PCM. SRMJEE is the only authentic and authorized way to get into any SRM Colleges across the nation. The cutoff was equal or more than 75% in your PCM subjects.

Daily routine starts at morning 8 AM to 3:40 AM including an hour of lunch break from 12 to 1 PM. The quality of teaching is very conventional and outdated. The books and curriculum followed by the university is not up to date with the recent technical aspects. The ritual of wasting money on notes despite being provided with the world class authentic books are some of the darker and not mentioned facts in this college. Exam preparation is another myth which lot of people have for this institution. They just provide you with the so called Important question before exams so that at the end of the day the passing percentage for the particular subject will be high. It's exactly like spoon feeding protocol they follow.

The course fee for each year is around 1.85 Lacks excluding the Hostel & Mess fees and Career Development fees. The scholarship options in this specific campus is almost negligible. There is programme named SAP ( Student Abroad Program) where people can visit college of other nation in a knot of exchange. Scholarship of around 30% cutoff from the turion fees are provided to the scholars who scored above 9.5 GPA. 3persons per class can be the answer to the average number of students benefits from scholarship.

No cultural festivals are organised from past three academic year. Last year we had our pilot edition of MUN. Apart from that small flash-mobs and other social events conducted by the ED cell , there will be no such happening thing gonna be conducted.
