TCS is the main recruiter here. Also companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Coigznant, McAfee, etc turn up. Last year (2017) 85 of the 150(app.) got placed. Average Salaries offered is around 6-8 lpa, highest ones being offered from Microsoft...13-14 lpa.

There are a total of 3 hostels for TISL alone. Monthly charges 6k rupees. I would suggest u to not opt for them. Most of my friends left in the second semester. Excellent options for PGs are available in Salt Lake, New Town, 206, Chingrihata. There is only one college canteen serving both the TISL and Techno India University in the campus. Food is great, no doubt. Labs are good. English labs for improving communication skills are good. Classrooms are better off. Construction going on now, since they are adding 2 more floors, totalling 7. Air-conditioned classrooms in first three floors. Possibly 2 more floors would be air-conditioned by the end of my semester. Computer labs in 2nd floor are well maintained. There are a total of 9 labs out there. Other than the computer labs, rest of them are housed in another building up in front. Electronics lab and electrical lab looked good. I had classes for only 2 semesters, and it too looked good. Wifi available but its worse. Swimming pool ill-maintained. College ground is not that big considering it is shared by the university students too. But there are bigger parks nearby (not of college). We use them for practices.

I got a rank of 6400 in WBJEE and was comfortably admitted in the 3rd round of counselling. Need not worry. Ranks upto 7500 WBJEE rank will fetch you a seat in B.Tech in CSE in TISL. Fees vary from 65k to 50k per semester.

Laboratories are well maintained, on par with other private colleges. Additional English Labs for improving communication skills are a bonus. Faculty is Average, a few are great. Overall its a mixed experience.

65k for sem 1, 2. Rest of the semesters averaging 46k. Students with Family income less than 2.5 Lacs are considered for TFW (Tution Fee Waiver) directly through WBJEE. There are 7 seats for TFW in CSE department in TISL. Loan can be easily availed through the Punjab National Bank within the campus.

Edge, the techno-management fest is second only to Kshitiz of IIT Kgp in West Bengal. Geekonix club maintains that. Apart from that Anachronous is the cultural fest held every year. College clubs include Cyber Crusade for gamers, CSE UNITED for CSE students, Eclectica for Electrical students, and many more. You can check it in the official website edg.com
