Average package is about 4 lakh per annum. Placements are pretty good in IT folowed by Cse and Ece.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

There are many hostels but availability is only for meritorious students and is allotted rank wise. Hostel fee rent is around 12k per annum excluding food for which cooperative mess is available which charge you 35 rs per diet

Admission is based on all India jee ranks. Ranks go from 10000 to 90000 varying branch wise.

Academics and Faculty

Overall teaching is pretty good. Class schedule is not very hectic and you can focus on various other groups available in the college ranging from robotics to dance, coding to poetry.

Fees and Scholarships

College fees is around 70k per year and many scholarships for meritorious students category wise and for the economic weaker section is available.

Many societies are available in college. Technical cultural sports almost every society is present which have various events from time to time

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in UIET you have to score good marks in JEE MAIN entrance examination. Then according to your rank you get admission in any branch. Also, if have some quota then you will get a good branch. UIET has 6 branches CSE, ECE, EEE, ME, IT, Biotech.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : First of all, you need to have a non medical stream in 12th class for eligibility. So I was eligible to apply. Next, there is JAC CHANDIGARH. Where a student has to apply for admission to colleges in Chandigarh for this course. IIT main was the exam and admissions are based on the rank received in the test. Mine was around 18,000. Cut off vary from year to year . Approximately 25,000 rank was the last rank in Ece branch.
