Placements and Internships

Main Companies that come to the college campus are KPO, BPO, Consulting, IT companies.
They offer the profile for analyst and Developer.
The average salary is approximately 3.5 lac per annum.
The college is new but its network is spreading very fastly.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Panjab university has its hostels for all the departments but no specific for the college.
Food is very easily available in sector 14 Student center. Also, various pg are available near a college in sector 15 and nearby sectors.
Wifi is the main component in college life. And it is strong in College as well as the hostel.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

First of all, you need to have a non medical stream in 12th class for eligibility. So I was eligible to apply. Next, there is JAC CHANDIGARH. Where a student has to apply for admission to colleges in Chandigarh for this course.
IIT main was the exam and admissions are based on the rank received in the test. Mine was around 18,000.
Cut off vary from year to year . Approximately 25,000 rank was the last rank in Ece branch.

Academics and Faculty

Classes vary from stream to stream and it is normally in the time period of 9 to 5 . With a lunch break of 1 hour in between.
Quality is above average and the teachers are efficient in their subject.
It was an experience to remember.

Fees and Scholarships

The fee is approximately Rs.70,000 to Rs.80,000 per year.
The scholarship is offered to top 3 students in a branch.
Also , the fee for some students who are students of PANJAB UNIVERSITY is less.

Clubs and Associations

There are various clubs and societies like IEEE for electronics , Dramatics club, Magboard Magazine society. Dancing Club , Sbe for biotech etc,
Aavishkar, aarambh, Goonj are some of the main fests of college.
It never boring.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in UIET you have to score good marks in JEE MAIN entrance examination. Then according to your rank you get admission in any branch. Also, if have some quota then you will get a good branch. UIET has 6 branches CSE, ECE, EEE, ME, IT, Biotech.
