No stipends for B. Tech but stipends for M. Tech is available and internships for B. Tech. On campus placement is available. Packages are different.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are around 7 to 8 different hostels. Food is not good and the fee is ₹15,000 per sem Infrastructure is brilliant
Entrance Exams and Admissions
NIT Srinagar offers the B.Tech degree under eight different specializations. All these courses are for a duration of four years.Admission to the B.Tech programme at NIT, Srinagar is done based on the performance of the candidates in JEE (Main) which is conducted at the All India level. Candidates applying for the B.Tech courses should have a minimum 75% marks in the 12th class examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards.Students can apply online for JEE (Main).The shortlisted candidates based on JEE (Main) results will be called for the counseling round at NIT Srinagar. Seat allotment will be based on subject test scores and the choices given by the candidate, in the order of their merit and priority taken together. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination For NRIs, admission is done through DASA. JEE MAIN is the Exam to get admission in Nit Srinagar

9 A.M to 5 P.M classes. Quality of teaching is good. Overall experience is excellent
Fees and Scholarships
₹75,000 is per year fee. Scholarships are available for SC/ST and other minority groups

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission is through JEE- Mains exam. You can get admission even at somewhat lower ranks till last rounds.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There is an examination named as jee mains and I qualified that and got admitted in this institute.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : We have to pass jee mains( national level exam) than during counselling we have to select the nit Srinagar. If your rank is eligible for this college then you will be selected. For CSE, it is 20k rank for non-local.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You can get into NIT Srinagar by taking up the prestigious JEE MAINS examination for btech and GATE for mtech and PhD the minimum eligible criteria for college is to have at least 60% of marks in your +2 examination of any board for btech 50% of marks in your under graduation for getting admission into mtech and must qualify gate exam. The cutoff was around 30,000 for the Metallurgical & material science engineering branch for this year (2017)
