The infrastructure is great. There are 23 hostels and the Internet services are amazing. Classes, labs and seminar halls are really good.

For entering in college like IIT Kharagpur one must clear the JEE Advanced exam. It is not impossible to enter this college but you have to try really hard for it. Generally people who get jee ranks below 3000 in general category can get admission in chemical engineering in IIT Kharagpur. This branch deals with chemical process involving engineering like refining.
