Swadesh Satyam Chandrakar's Review on Indian Institute of Management, [IIM] Indore

The avg placement for IPM Is about 12 lacs per annum. Most of the students are placed in either Marketing or Finance. Being one of the top management school it has a very wide and strong alumni network.

IPM Is a fully residential programme. The hostels are top notch and are triple accommodation. The college mess is excellent. After the first three years you get individual rooms and mess becomes optional.

I am currently pursuing the 5 year integrated programme in management (IPM) from IIM Indore. And It has been an amazing experience. You have to apply for the IPMAT which has two stages. I) Aptitude test II) WAT + Interview About 20000 students apply for IPMAT out of which about 1000 are called for interview and finally 120 are selected.

The schedule is very hectic. The classes usually start from 8:45 and go on till 5:00 in the evening. Sometimes it feels as if the Exams never end with two quizzes,midterms, endterms, assignments all cramped in three months. But overall it is an amazing experience.

IPM is a very expensive course. For the five years it would cost you about 30 lacs. Most students opt for student loans which are very willingly provided by the banks.

There are multiple clubs and societies you can join according to your interests and hobbies. All the important festivals are celebrated in the campus. We have two fest Atharva ( cultural fest) & Ranbhoomi ( sports fest).
