They won't help with the internship so you have to find your own.Guys the placements are really good for CSE, IT, SW like 9/10. and ECE, EEE, and MECH like 7/10, the rest branches seem to be a little back in the race.The average salary of INR 30000 per month. Highest salary was for CSE department INR 13lacks per annum. A lot of different companies come regularly like Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, TVS, etc
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
2 hostel for boys 1 for girls.hostel is good but the fee is very high INR 1.10 lacks per year. PGs are available nearby with a minimum expense of INR 6-7k.also you can make a group of friends and stay in flats.college canteen is nice and cheap, 60 rupees for a meal. Infrastructure is nice but no AC in classrooms.library is not so big but enough books are available.College canteen has a dining hall.Wifi only for hostel students
Entrance Exams and Admissions
You have to get PCM 70% or above to get admission. Also, You have to write an entrance exam called SRMJEE .Its application form is available on SRM website. If you have a rank within 20000 you can get any department
Academics and Faculty
From 8:00 Am your day will start till 4:30 with a 50 min break in between.you have to submit at least 2 projects in whole 4 years. 2 internal exam is there of 15 and 25 marks for all subject.5 marks for assignment and 5 for quiz.and at last 50 marks university exam.quality and method of teaching are good.My overall experience is not good because this campus is not like college.you feel like school here with discipline and you have to wear formal dress
Fees and Scholarships
I am from 2015 batch so my fee is around INR 3.5 lacks per annum. In today's case it will be higher and so, I'm talking about total expense here a year. The scholarship opportunity is for those who get ranks in SRMJEE.Loans can be needed but solely depends upon your financial status.
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs but none of them are worth time.only one club for mechanical is worth time and money ie racing team club where they make formula cars and take part in different events across country.No main festival because it is a sub-branch.Life in college is boring
