Internships are done in the final year in the field of your choosing that is related to media. SRM is one of the reputed colleges in India is well known by big companies and the candidates are recruited from all the top companies on successful graduation. Average salary depends on the company or the field of work where the candidate is hired in, it greatly varies but the average pay is quite decent.

The University is built on acres worth of space and has almost all the facilities required for the students including the hostels and canteens or dining halls for students staying at the hostel. There are huge separate hostels for both boys and girls and the fee varies but it should be affordable and includes the cost of food. The food at the hostels are also great both veg and non veg and the students have the option of opting out for food as there are a bunch of great restaurants right outside the college. Quality of the classroom is great especially for visual communication state of the art buildings with centralized air conditioning and labs with projectors high-end computers and photography and art labs with all the latest technology required for learning is provided and the fee covers all the costs. Wifi is provided for students staying at the hostel. Libraries are quite big covering almost every topic of books. Overall the college has a great infrastructure. The PG renting options are also quite affordable as they are high in demand by college students who wish to reside nearby.

Eligibility to take up this course is quite standard doesn't require any special or extra entrance exams you need have passed your 12th and 10th exams that's about it. The admission process is fast as there are no entrance exams you will have to submit your education details and other mandatory documents specified by the college you can refer the college admissions office or their website for particular details regarding the procedure it's pretty standard. There is no specified cut off required by the college for this course.

Academics in this course is a good mix of both theory and practical classes from the first year. There's usually a few theory subjects but the great importance is given to practical studies here as that's what matters a lot. There are art classes, Photography classes starting right from the basics all the way to advanced in the final year and editing classes covering all the mainstream parts related to editing both 2D and 3D and a lots more. Teachers are great and friendly and highly experienced in their respective fields of teaching. The experience at the college is great with state of the art learning and extracurricular activities.

Course fee depends on the batch. There's the morning and the evening batch that's available the morning batch fees per year is around 75k-80k and the evening batch fee per year is 65k-70k the fee includes everything books etc. Scholarship might be given according to government norms ( i personally am not sure if this is available). Regarding the bank loans, it's easy with certain banks provided the right documents are given. I would suggest SBI or PNB.

There are a lot of students welfare and sports societies etc for students benefits. There are a lot of inter-college cultural and it's one of the biggest events in the city as various other universities participate in different fields such as sports music tech etc. The college life is great.
