Many top companies come for the campus placements. Students got placed in companies like Bosch, Titan, etc.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostels are provided for both boys and girls. Hostel fee for four years is INR 29,000 for girls and INR 23,000 for boys. Mess bill should be pain monthly. Many hostels are available outside the campus. Food is nice. Classrooms are good. Lab facilities are also good. The Library is vast and has varieties of books to enrich our knowledge. The Dining hall is maintained very clean and neat. College provides free WiFi to improve students knowledge.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The student should pass the 12th grade with the good percentage to get into college. The cutoff is around 197.5.
Academics and Faculty
Classes are conducted from 9:00 am till 4:30 pm. Projects are given routinely. Assignments are given often. Many well-experienced faculties are available to provide a good quality of education. Few faculties teaching is not that good. My overall experience in college was good.
Fees and Scholarships
BE at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore fee for one year is around INR 85,000. Scholarships are available for many categories.
Clubs and Associations
The college has many different clubs for students. Every club conducts cultural events every year. Apart from this many competitions are also conducted. Life in college is a very good experience.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Regarding eligibility criteria, you should complete your HSC or diploma. I came through TNEA counseling. There is no entrance exam. 190-170 is the cutoff for admission to CIT.
