Placements and Internships
No, I haven't done any internships yet. Microsoft, Intel, IBM, dell are the giants that recruits student from our college. Average salary ranges between INR 4-5 lakhs per annum, Highest salary went upto INR 21 lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Our campus has a total of 15 hostels, hostel fee per month depends upon its class. The one I stay in costs around INR 3,500 per month as it is 3 bedded room. Food quality is poor and it costs about INR 15,000 per 6 months. Quality of build and architecture is premium.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Admission was based on KIITEE rank and minimum percentage required of 60% in boards to be eligible for counseling. KIITEE is the entrance exam conducted by my university. For my course, the cutoffs were 4000 in KIITEE as i opted for CSE branch.
Academics and Faculty
Classes commence in the morning at 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Quality and method of teaching are optimum for students who pay attention. Method of teaching includes whiteboards and PPT's. Overall experience in the college is good.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee costs around INR 3 lakhs per annum. if mess and hostel charges are excluded per annum. A fee waiver of INR 5000 per month to them who secured less than 1k in KIITEE. Yes, middle-class families and lower middle class go for loans. It is easily available from any bank.
