Placement after doing MD Microbiology is very good. Microbiology as a subject is gaining importance due to many new infectious diseases.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
College hostel is good and well maintained. Quality of food is average. Quality of the classroom, labs, etc is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
WBJEE is the entrance exam. I got the admission this college through service seat.
Academics and Faculty
Class starts at 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Quality and method of teaching is good.But basically in MD. Overall experience in GMCH was very good, very homely.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is INR 1,800 per annum. Course fee was very less at that time in the Year of 2000 to 2003 in government medical colleges.
Clubs and Associations
The main festival in college is Bihu. The life in the college is good.
