Placements and Internships
The companies like Intel, HP, Robert Bosch, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Samsung, Paytm, Amazon etc. in the year 2017. The highest package in 2017 was around INR 20 lakhs per annum. ECE got 85% of their students placed. Average package is around INR 3-4 lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 2 hostels and its fee is INR 50,000 per annum. The mess fee is INR 15,000 per annum. The hostel is maintained well. It's very clean. The attached bathroom is available at girls hostel. Wifi is available both in college and hostel. The food is not good. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. The library does not have sufficient books.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The candidate must clear the COMEDK UGET exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 83 cutoff mark is required for ECE.
Academics and Faculty
College starts at 9 am and ends at 4:45 pm. Students get projects and assignments all throughout the semester. We have three internals and one external exam. The method of teaching is good.
Fees and Scholarships
The fee is around INR 2 lakhs per annum. No scholarship option is provided.
Clubs and Associations
There are student societies and clubs. This college has its fest called Verve. It provides a good experience for students. And every branch has their own fests.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility for admission in JSS is a decent CET score within 15,000 for Karnataka students. For B.Tech, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology. I had taken Karnataka CET. One must make sure that he maintains a percentage of 90% in +12 to enter JSS. The selection of candidates for the M.Tech program is done on the basis of GATE score. Final admission is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GD and the interview.
