Dani M's Review on JSS Academy of Technical Education

Companies that visit JSS annually are Accenture, Mindtree, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra. These are usually mass recruiters. Average salary is INR 3,50,000/- Per Annum. Close to 95% of the students get placed. If you're from CS, IS, EC and you're a medium scorer and with decent grades in your academics then surely you'll be placed to any of the IT companies.

They have annual alumni meets.

The eligibility for admission in JSS  is a decent CET score within 15,000 for Karnataka students. For B.Tech, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology. I had taken Karnataka CET. One must make sure that he maintains a percentage of 90% in +12 to enter JSS. The selection of candidates for the M.Tech program is done on the basis of GATE score. Final admission is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GD and the interview.

1. They have a good timetable compared to other colleges so that reduces the extra pressure. The half days are up to 1 o’clock.They have faculty who will help you a lot and treat you like a friend especially during the non class hours. They are very approachable and ready to assist you with any problems the students have.
2. Beautiful campus I must say, makes you feel fresh from the dense urban Bangalore due to its location in the outskirts of the city.

The college fee is as structured by the government of Karnataka. Students are provided scholarships based on their economic background.

1. The fest VERVE is one of the well-known fests in the city and was considered the best fest in Bangalore for 3 consecutive years. Few notables like Farhan Akhtar, Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, etc made guest appearances.
2. There are clubs for all the activities. The crowd is good, you will find a lot of people who are friendly and trustworthy.
