Placements and Internships
Our college didn't have a mandatory internship program and in fact, it was frowned upon. But I don't think it affected the overall placement of students. Most of the people in different branches did get placed eventually and average salary would be between INR 4-5 lakhs per annum. Frankly speaking, I personally don't have any idea about the alumni network.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There was a single boy's hostel which was on the college campus and fees was INR 7000 per year. By the end of 4 years, it inflated to INR 90000 per year. All the expenses pertaining to food and wifi was included in the hostel fees but its quality was poor. Classrooms and library were good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I think the eligibility criteria is the same always i.e 60/70% in boards exam and for the admission procedure they have a proper counseling session depending on your rank. The exam you need give for admission is named COMEDK UGET. Not really sure about the cutoffs now but I gave the exam in 2013 and in that year the intake stopped at around 7k rank. And from what I heard from my HoD, in my final year the intake stopped at around 2.5k rank for my branch which was ECE
Academics and Faculty
We had 6 classes in a day,1 hour each and we also had 2 breaks in a day. First break would be after 1st two classes for 45 mins and then a lunch break after next 2 classes for an hour. The day used to end by 3:30 pm. The quality of teaching was decent. Some teachers were good at their domain and had a good command over the class but it was rare. Mostly it was down to the students only.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee per year was INR 1.37 lakhs per annum for COMED-K students. It was much less for CET students who had a domicile for Karnataka. Loans were easily available but it depends upon the financial stability of the student's family. We had a Union Bank of India branch inside the campus itself
Clubs and Associations
Co-curricular activities weren't forte of my college. I think we did have few societies and clubs like there was a photography club, dance club etc. But most of it was kept under wraps because student participation in these activities wasn't appreciated by the faculties. Maaya fest was our main cultural fest. In every even semester, we had Activity Day in which different departments were pitted against each other in various competitions. We also had hackathons by name InGenius and Kludge which were good. InGenius was a really good platform for budding developers. We also had TedX event every even semester. College life was memorable mostly because of the friend circle I ended up with and those 4 years will always be an important lesson

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The PESIT BANGALORE SOUTH CAMPUS located in bangalore is one among top ranked engineering colleges in Karnataka.The admissions for bachelors degree courses are based on the cutoffs scored in enterance exams like KCET and COMED-K.My admission was based on my KCET score.Students from Karnataka state are eligible wit their cutoff of KCET ranks whereas students from other states need to have a good score in COMED-K to get a seat.Management seats are also available.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I was admitted to PESIT through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test College Allotment process. My KCET rank was eligible for admission in PESIT. The exam is a fairly easy one, since the syllabus is primarily the 12th grade CBSE Science stream portions. Requires a fair bit of practice on a regular basis. The typical cut-off for my course i terms of the required rank is around 6000 for the general category.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : IMS Unison University, [IUU] Dehradun Management Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1,15,000 per year. To join this prestigious college, there is an eligibility criteria that all students, after passing 12th has to go through. A student must have 70% on their 12th boards. So to get into this college all students must go through an entrance exam called COMEDK which is basically for non-banglorian students staying outside karnataka and for Karnataka local students they have to write KCET. Students can also join through Management KOTA where the fee structure is 4-5 lacs per annum. For every department in our college the cutoff varies. Lets say a student wants to pursue Computer science which is the top branch then he/she must posses 75% on their 12th boards. So for my course i.e Information Science the cutoff is around 70%.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : CET which is for Localites. COMEDK which is also for non - localites. MANAGEMENT QUOTA from which anyone can take the admission provided he/she has secured over 60% marks in Physics, CHEMISTRY and MATHS in 10th and 12th board exams. For every branch there is a cut-off to clear in CET and COMEDK so according to your rank you will be assigned the branch. I got my admission through Management.
