Placements and Internships
I've not done any internship till now. Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, Wipro, Godrej, HCL, HP, Exide, Juniper, Atkins, Intel, Huawei, Ford, Texas, Indian oil, TATA, Samsung, Infosys, Vedanta, sony, TVS, Oracle, Facebook, Toshiba, blue star, CEAT, ANZ, Cisco, eBay, Bosch, Ashok Leyland, Castrol, BHEL, Bajaj, and many other companies hire from this campus. Highest salary offered was INR 80 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered was INR 7-8 lakhs per annum. 98% of the students get placed usually.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 4 boys hostel and one girl's hostel Opal. The hostel fee is around Rs.30,000 per semester. I have no idea about PG. Food is decent enough to eat, not so hygienic though. Food costs Rs.30,000 per semester. Per meal, it's Rs.40. Classroom infrastructure, acoustics, everything is too good. Lab facilities are the best here. I've never seen such awesome labs anywhere. Libraries are also good. Wi-Fi connection is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Candidate must clear the JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute to get admission in this college. The cutoff rank for TN students to get computer science in NIT, Tiruchirapalli is 5024, for ECE it's 6946, EEE 10134, Mech 11382, and so on. My rank was 5006.
Academics and Faculty
The classes usually start at 8:30 am and go on till 5:10 pm. Each day we have a practical for each subject. We'll be doing two assignments per sem. Quality of teaching for first-year students didn't seem to be that great. Overall experience in college is quite good.
Fees and Scholarships
I pay INR 1,10,000 per semester. For SC/ST students, a fee reduction is available. I have no idea about loans.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Score more than 75 percent in class 12 in science stream with PCM as compulsory subject. Get rank less than 20k in JEE Main go for JOSAA counseling and you can get admission.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Jee Main exam. My cutoffs 1/3rd of my marks. I join by the physical handicap. I got civil branch in my college.
Placements & Internships : NIT has a vast and open range when it comes to placements. The companies that extend from IT organizations like Accenture etc to companies of the banking sector such as Bank of America, to core selective companies such as bosh, Suzuki. The average salary varies by the packages offered by different companies to the selected candidates.
