Santosh Kumar's Review on Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science

As I'm studying in 1st year I have not done any internships till now, but our college provides many internships. Our faculty supports us for internships.The main branch in our college is aeronautical engineering.The average salary is maybe INR 70,000 to INR 80,000 per annum. Our college director K.C.G.VERGEESE is one alumni of our college.

The hostel fee is INR 1,23,000 per year. There is many PGs outside of our college and the cost is INR 5000 to INR 6000 per month. Food in college is good and the cost is included in hostel fee itself. Labs, library, classes are very good. Our college has a digital library with many books.

I have seen about my college on a website when I was searching for top universities for aeronautical engineering. I attained an entrance exam for admission into this college. There are no cutoffs for any course and according to your rank, you can take your seat if there is availability.

The Class timing is from 9 am to 4:30 pm.There will a one hour break for lunch.Our faculty gives us some projects, assignments. The teaching quality is good.The faculty around us move with us like a friend.I have a good experience till now in my college.

Our college tuition fee is INR 2,80,000 per year for aeronautical. We can get the scholarship by writing HITSEEE exam if we are in top 25 we will get 100% scholarship.If we in 25 to 50 rank we will get 75% scholarship and If we in 50 to 100 rank we will get 50% scholarship. Above 100 ranks there will be no scholarship. We can also get scholarship according to our 10+2 marks. There will be 300 students who can get the scholarship. No,I didn't take any loans from the bank.

An NCC, NSS, YRS and other clubs are available in our college. We can join in the sports club if we are interested.
