Placements and Internships

4.5

KIIT University provides best guidance and opportunities for placements. Every year, KIIT comes out with the record placements including my batch.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

Each branch has a separate hostel. You can even get PGs or flat options nearby the college. But I feel the hostel was awesome. The classrooms and other infrastructures are awesome.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

KIIT University generally conducts their own private exam i.e., KIITEE and based on the marks and ranks, the students are allotted there. I personally appeared in KIITEE, 2013 and my rank was around 11000. The admission can be done through JEE MAIN also.

Academics and Faculty

2.5

Flexible College timings were there. Every day you will have 6 hours of classes that will consist of 3 hours theory and 3 hours practical. They use modern methods of teaching is really good and the faculties are generally Ph.D. holders from IITs and NITs. Overall experience was average.

Fees and Scholarships

1.5

For my batch i.e., for 2013, the course fee was INR 1.1 lakhs per semester. Always the top 3 students from every branch get the scholarships.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

There are many clubs and societies available like E-Cell, AIESEC, E-Labs, etc. Life in college is terrific, you will make some awesome friends in your journey and the faculties are communicative as well if you attend classes regularly.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The first step is to get selected by writing the KIITEE examination. It is like any other competitive exam but is easy to crack as compared to JEE MAIN. You can choose your stream on the orientation day as per the ranking of your scored and the number of seats remaining. The admission process is easy here.
