The Placements for CSE, ECE, and ISE are as good as any other college. You can even get a package of INR 16-18 lakhs if you're good enough. The average package ranges from INR 3.5 LPA to 6 LPA.The  Placements of this college are very good. Mass recruiters are TCS, Deloitte, SAP Labs, L&T etc. The placements of CMR IT are said to be one of the best.

The robustness of the environment gives an optimistic feel about the college. The college campus is small but it has its attractions like the canteen and its library. We have everything from coffee day to a regular canteen, you can get anything.We have a volleyball court, a basket ball court, and a football field. The library is superb, well maintained and has all the facilities required for students. 

CMR Institute of Technology provides good opportunities to learn different things. It helps to experience a good deal of activities which help in building a person's personality. Students get a chance to improve in academic as well as sports activities to rise from mediocre level and to excel in different fields.

It's important that you're a part of a healthy crowd so that you grow with the right encouragement. CMRIT has a mixed crowd, some really good people and there is no scope of ragging at all. Senior - Junior interaction is smooth,  No ragging, It's a perfect blend, people coming from all over India and students from other countries as well.

There are numerous clubs in the college, which comes to life only during the fest. We have music club, art club, dance club, literary club, photography club, tech club, theatre club and media club.

In short, if you want to have fun and education this is THE PLACE to spend your engineering.

The teachers teach really well, and yeah, they do complete the course on time, plus they are available for you all the time. If you concentrate enough in the class and take proper notes, believe me, you will never be buying books.Each teacher has a personal website, where they upload proper notes and assignments for the students to access.. Attendance is given importance. You should have a minimum of 85%. On a safer side, you should always have more than 70% attendance.

The CMR Memorial Scholarships are awarded to students with financial need, as determined by the CMR Scholarship Committee. It is a merit cum means scholarship. This financial aid comes from a dedicated scholarship fund of the CMR Jnanadhara Trust. Any student who is economically weak, and/or from a rural area is eligible to apply. The applicant must furnish the relevant details as proof of his/her eligibility. A good academic record is a must.
