Placements and Internships

The students get the internship from the college itself.Also, students here pursue Winter Internship in the month of Dec after the first semester and college provide assistance for that too.Since few years department has been registering 100% placement in Internships and final job offers. Department also promote entrepreneurship among students through E-Cell which is entrepreneurs club of IIT Roorkee.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

more than 20 hostels within the campus and generally students get a hostel almost close to their lecture halls. During the first year, students have to share the hostel rooms but second year onwards; everyone is allotted an individual room.There's a restriction for girls to return to hostel by 10.30 pm. No such restriction for boys.Table tennis and other indoor sports are available at sports complex.Other options are available for students at affordable cost but most of them prefer for hostel within campus.campus with distinct departments with well maintained.Every department is well-equipped with upgraded labs, strong Wi-Fi and are fully furnished.

Academics and Faculty

IIT Roorkee comprises of esteem faculty fraternity with student base of around 85 students per batch and 13 permanent faculty alongwith some visiting faculty as well. The course of twice-a-year semester system includes general MBA subjects in first two (for overall knowledge inculcation of budding managers in every field- Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR and IT) and third and fourth semesters include subjects relevant to dual specializations opted by students as per their choice.Classes are regular,assignments and project are given on regular interval.exams are held monthly and semester exams are held once in a semester.Here are faculties are quite experienced and skillful.

Fees and Scholarships

fees are normal and it totally depends on the courses applied for and as per the university norms and easily affordable to every studentsThere is relaxation in fee and scolarships for the students from backward family background.The topper of the department gets Director's scholarship every year.There are two banks in the campus- SBI and PNB and one can esily get the education loan from these banks at reasonable interest rates.

Clubs and Associations

DoMS has a number of clubs starting from Finance, Marketing, HR, Analytics, Operations and Consulting. Also DoMS has a number of Committees like the Placement Committee, Industrial and Academia Relationship Cell, Sports Committee, Newsletter committee. All of them work in close coordination to organize guest lectures, Business Conclaves and other related Activities that keep high enthusiasm level in students.

Academics & Faculty : My day starts at 6AM. The day has be vey hectic as MBA is supposed to be. Classes commence at 9AM and go on till six in the evening. Thereafter, we have session for enhancing your knowledge. Periodic assignments are given to students either in groups or individually. We also have presentations in many courses. The method of teaching is very good. They teach us how much we need to study on our own and guide us through that. CLasses are really knowledgeble. Apart from the academics, there are various extra curricular activities and events taking place in the college which require our active particiption.
