Placements and Internships
- i'm interning at Siti Networks Ltd.with a stipend of 5000pm.
- The college offers placements in all fields of management. The average is around 7lpa, the highest that we receive is 17 lpa, till now the 90•/• of the batch is placed and the placement process is still continuing.
- A very strong alumni network exists which helps the institute for placements as well as guest lectures. To maintain this network, a committee called Alumni Committee works day in and day out.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- In the Institute of Management Technology
- 4 hostels exists for boys and girls. The 2year fee for food and accommodation is 1.5 lacs. Not many options outside campus exist as the institute is situated 35 kms away from city. The food here is decent and costs 120/ day for 4 meals. Classrooms, library are fully air conditioned, WiFi enabled. A rich source of learning.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- To get into the Institute of Management Technology you should have completed your graduation in any stream( preferably B.Com, NBA etc.).
- For admission you should have got 60•/• in the graduation stage. CAT was taken up by me for the entrance test.
- The cut offs generally are around 70 percentile for CAT but for CMATthe cut off is around 80 percentile and above.
Academics and Faculty
- A hectic schedule for the entire week(including weekends).
- The classes run from morning till evening and sometimes post evening as well.
- Method of teaching is good and quality of education imparted is level headed with the peer colleges. It is a beautiful experience of learning and implementation.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fees in the Institute of Management Technology is6lacs/ year.
- The best students of all streams get a scholarship of 25000 and a overall performer gets 1,00,000. 5-7 students get the scholarships.
- Yes, for an average income family loan is needed however it is easily available at all banks but the institute has a tie up with OBC bank so the interest rate charged is lesser comparatively.
Clubs and Associations
- Institute of Management Technology is student driven so a lot of committees and forums for different things exist which adds to the holistic growth of the students.
- Festivals include M34,M35, Melange, Concord, Ranbhoomi etc.
- Life is happening and the environment is positive and filled with learning.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance exams conducted are CAT, XAT,and CMAT. I gave my CAT exam and scored 78.36% and got admissions in Institute of Management Technology, [IMT] Nagpur. The typical cutoff around 75%.
