ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Teachers are very hard working and dedicated. But students often complain about the lack of quality teaching as most of them don't follow what is being taught. But the role of a teacher an engineering institute (or any professional course for that matter) is to merely help you out and it is the student has to do all the self study to fetch good grades.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK: The placement scene has improved a lot in recent years. In fact now the most attractive point of NPTI Badarpur is that it has been offering more than 100% placements (i.e 100% plus multiple offers to a few students) in core companies. For some of the batches though, due to economic slowdown and coal scams placement had dipped to 80-85%. Over 20 companies recruit from here of which the major recuiters are Reliance Power, Alstom and Bechtel. Average package is 4 Lakh per annum and highest is something around 6 Lakh per annum.

HOSTELS & FOOD: On campus accommodation to over 2500 students in its 10 hostels 5 each for girls and boys. free WiFi inside campus area. Cooperative Mess each hostel has facility for indoor games,recreation, STD and canteen good and healthy food.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION: The institute has its own campus spread over a picturesque landscape of about 15 acres in faridabad, which is a neatly planned city and well developed industrial centre. the campus houses the main institute building, guest house, hostels, sports complex, and residential quarters for both academic and administrative staff.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK: 100% placement till 2011. Past two years were not good. Still quality placement and opportunity. Deloitte,PWC, Tata Power and many more leading power companies. Avg package 7-8 lac per annum 12 batches of around 1500 students alumni.Effective alumni network.

HOSTELS & FOOD: Hostel is pretty good & food is also quite well & cheap. Altogether living standards are quite good. You will love living on campus life out here at national Power Traininng Institute

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP: Annual scholarships are given to needy student who come under economic weaker section. Getting a full fee waiver is also possible.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK: Most of the power companies like IPPs, EPCscome here for placements & internship opportunities on annual basis. Annual package is also quite good depending on company's profile

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS: There are lot of student clubs & associations like Engineers without Border-National Power training Institute Chapter & other technicals clubs like robotics, cultural etc.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Academics is quite good. Teachers are very helpful & hard-working. Apart from academics they always encourage extra-crricular activites as well....
