  • I did my internship at Spencer's retail and my stipend was Rs 50000 per month.
  • All big companies like BCG, Mckinsey, HUL, TATA, Mahindra visit the campus and they offer various roles like marketing, sales, HR and finance.

  • The Alumni network is very powerful and is among the best in the world.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

  • There are 5 hostels and the hostels are the best in the country as I have seen. There are 2 co hostels and others are separate for boys and girls. The hostel fee is around Rs 2000 per month. They are equipped with facilities like gym, playrooms and sporting games like table tennis, pool etc.
  • PGs options outside college is much costlier and getting  a flat nearby college can be as costly as Rs 20000 per month.
  • Food in college is decent and it costs around 140 per day.
  • Quality of classrooms is awesome, wifi with projector and video conferencing facilities in other rooms. Library is very rich with many books and there are hundreds and thousands of online journals available. Dining halls are nicely maintained and spacious. All rooms have LAN facility and the campus is wi fi enabled.

Academics and Faculty

5

  • The daily routine is very hectic and class timings are student friendly. Projects are there in almost every subject and they provide holistic training while giving a practical experience.
  • Quality of teaching is great and the professors are among the best in the country. Method of teaching depends on the professor and subject.
  • Overall experience in college if one of its kind and something that I will remember for life.

4

  • The fee per year is around Rs 10 lakhs.
  • Scholarships options are available but they are few.
  • Around 5-10 % of students may get some scholarship.
  • Loans are generally needed and it is very easily available. There is an SBI branch in the campus and loan facility is extnded to everyone very easily.

5

  • There are many student societies like dance club, quiz club etc.
  • There is a separate cultural fest and another management fest. There is also a Marketing fest organized by the marketing club.

Academics & Faculty : There is a very tight schedule in the first year. There are excellent professors and a very well structured course. Scheduled quizzes, surprise tests, mid term and end term exams are conducted. A regular class participation component is present for assessing an individual on a continuous basis. The quality and method of teaching by certain professors is really creative and engaging. The professors along with the excellent peer batch make XLRI an excellent college.
