Placements & Internships : I have been placed at Spencer's for my Summer Internship.  Final Placement at XLRI will take place next year .ie. during the second year.  The Industries are all top notch companies like HUL, ABG, Mahindra and Mahindra. Many of them offer international offers. Average Salary figure for final placements were 17 lakhs and for the Summer Internships this year it was 70,000. XLRI has been successfully placing 100% of its batches and the legacy continues. The alumni network is very strong and tightly knit.

Academics & Faculty : XLRI have a rigorous schedule of the classes and are very busy with our projects, tests and assignments when not in classes. The courses are very relevant to the program I have opted for and is very broad and encompasses specific and important subjects related to business. The teaching methodology is wonderful. It is very interactive and learning oriented. At the end of the class, it comes out that we have theoretical learning and assignments that will help us in the practical application of the theory. The professors are accessible very easily and we can approach them in their offices whenever they are there. They are always happy to help us in understanding the subjects in more intricate ways and practically applying the knowledge that we learnt in class.

Fees & Scholarships : College Fee is 19.76 lakhs for the PGDHRM and PGDBM courses at XLRI.   Presently there is no scheme of scholarships but Bank loans are very easy to obtain at a less interest rate. There is a bank in the institute premises itself and it gives loans to the aspiring students very easily. The only criteria is that they have to have a guardian with them and an account with the bank.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Classrooms at XLRI are of State of the art quality and equipped with projectors and speakers. Audio Visual facilities are there and classes are designed in ways that all students can participate in the interactive sessions. The entire campus is wi-fi enabled and individual rooms have LAN connections. The seats are also LAN enabled in case there is a requirement of computer usage during the classes. The library is one of the oldest and equipped with all the latest books and journals. There are also e-books and e-journals available from various writers. Commuting facilities from the campus to the city and neighbouring areas is through autorickshaws and buses and the facilities are always available on requirement. Dining halls are all clean and well maintained. The infrastructure is one of the best in the world.

Clubs & Associations : Professional Clubs, Cultural and Arts Clubs and Social Associations are to the maximum at XLRI. There are individual clubs for all activities like Dracula for dramatics and dancing, Ex-link for literary activities, SportsCom for sports and all other such activities. The sports infrastructure is awesome and there are facilities for every possible sport that one can play. All sports which I can think of are played at the campus.
