Placements and Internships
- We have 100 percent placements, both during internship and finals, with average package more than most othe colleges among the top 10. Companies from diverse field like consulting, finance, fmcg, It, Banking visit the campus.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- We have sufficient spacious hostels to accomodate all the students.
- We have all the basic amenities available on the campus and also good eating joints that run almost 24 hrs.
- The classrooms are air conditioned with projector facility. Campus is wi-fi enabled.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings are not fixed though the slots are and the schedule is uploaded on intranet. The exam dates are communicated to us well- in advance.
Clubs and Associations
- We have societies based on various fields like HR, operations, finance, consulting, social, placement, academic.
- The three big events on campus are the cultural fest Valhalla, management fest Ensemble and the marketing research MAXI Fair.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is graduated in any stream for getting into Xaviers Labour Relation Institue, [XLRI] Jamshedpur. XAT entrance exam is required. The cut-off is 70 Percentile required.
Academics & Faculty : Academic rigour of XLRI is one that truly tests your mettle. You push your limits and it seems your weekdays are defined by deadlines for submissions and quizzes you need to prepare for. Eventually you get used to the fast pace and fall into the rhythm. It's bitter sweet, like the burn you feel after a good workout. 80% of the faculty lives up to the XL standards. They are impressive and tough and make your life miserable with their expectations. A Few suck. Most popular method of teaching here is case based. Pre-reads are given out in abundance and everyone strikes their unique balance between academics and fun. Overall, XL challenges you to become your best self.
Academics & Faculty : Overall experience is Pretty good in terms of Indian standards. The curriculum focusses on practical learning. Equips us to face industrial challenges.
