- Quality of classrooms are too good in statistics department.
- Labs are good.
- There are a number of hostels for boys and girls seperately.

- Fee for M.Sc (statistics) is INR 1800. Almost all the students who apply for scholarship get it and to apply for it ones families income should be less than a certain amount.
