  • The fees is a little expensive for a government funded college so a consideration should be given to the economically weaker section

Entrance Exams & Admissions : A student should qualify in JEE mains examination and score more than 75% in their second PUC board examination, and if he/she belongs to Karnataka, he/she can claim home state quota. The entrance exam scores accepted are JEE Mains, NEET-UG, and K-CET. If a student belongs to the home state and OBC, they should get an all India rank below 10,000 in the JEE Mains examination.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are very relaxed, we have about 25-29 hours a week, including labs. Enough projects are given to enable and enhance learning. Standards of assignments and exams are good and the questions make us wonder and think out of the box. Method of teaching and syllabus is very obsolete. With new technologies coming into existence each passing day, there needs to be a simultaneous upgrade of curriculum as well. Quality of teaching is average. Overall experience is great. A lot of peer group learning motivates and encourages us to step out of our comfort zone and venture into the world of the unknown to gain more and more insight in the fields we are interested in.

Academics & Faculty : Regarding timings, projects, exams and assignments everything is alright. But while coming to teaching part, some of the subjects are being taught by M.Tech graduates and they are not upto the mark.
