  • A number of companies and firms visit National Institute of Technology for internships and job placements. Every year almost 50-60 % of the passing out students end with jobs.
  • The average salary offered is around Rs. 5 lakhs.
  • Major recruiters include - Facebook, Microsoft, Samsung, ITC, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Dr Reddys Lab, Google, Schlumberger, Reliance and Goldman Sachs, in addition to IT Services and other Finance and management companies.
  • Many of these companies have alumni of the institute and some have been instrumental in bringing companies to recruit. Many of these companies have acknowledged the high standards of our students.

Academics and Faculty

  • National Institute of Technology, being deemed has good academic standards. A good number of programmes are available in the institute. Each course consists of courses that are relevant to it.
  • Teaching standards are good.
  • Class timings are not rigid. It's not like you have class every day from 9-5.
  • A number of exams = 4 (Two minor exams, one mid-semester and end semester).

  • A number of scholarships are available to financially weak students. All central and state scholarships are applicable to the students of the institute.
  • In addition, the Institute has its own Merit Scholarship for highly meritorious students.
  • The institute provides the option to pay the fees through bank loans and support the students by providing necessary documents to get one.

Clubs and Associations

A number of clubs run in college. These include - Dance and Dramatics, Music, Photography, Painting, Quiz, Literary and Debate, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Robotics, Nature, Science and Hobbies, Film, and Ham Club. Each department has its own association organizing events. The institute conducts Technozion (Tech fest) and Springspree(Cultural Fest) every year. The institute has decent sports facilities for Badminton, Tennis, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Table Tennis and Ball Badminton. It has a 400 m running track, a fully functional gym, and an indoor stadium. A swimming pool has been sanctioned and work is expected to begin shortly. The institute team participates in Inter NIT and Inter University Sports meets and have brought many laurels to the college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : We have to write JEE MAIN entrance examination to get a seat in national Institute of technology. We have to score a minimum of 150 marks (cut off).

Entrance Exams & Admissions :  Eligibility criteria for joining the National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Warangal is passing the IIT JAM (in science stream) to get admission in the college. The cut-off is based on the ranking in the IIT JAM exam.

Academics & Faculty : The class timing at National Institute of Technology is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The quality and method of teaching are quite good.
