Placements and Internships

5

  • Unless you are medically unfit, or want to pay out, you get commissioned in the Army/Air Force/Navy based on your performance in the final exams
  • In general, people from AFMC, whether in the forces or in Civil do very well and form a respectable community

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

  • One of the best colleges I've come across so far
  • Hostel is a bit of a different issue, but still way better than what other colleges provide
  • No hostel fee is to be paid
  • Food provided to the students is good but it is a mess
  • Campus is pretty good

Academics and Faculty

3.5

Due to various other things as part of ' Training', it takes time to set in any form of routine, especially in the initial few days

After a few weeks, one gets accustomed to everything going on, but in general, the sense of having a hectic routine shall persist

Regarding teachers and their methodology, everything and everyone have their own pros and cons, and this is a subjective issue

In general though: It is pretty good if you enjoy your subjects

Fees and Scholarships

5

  • Initially some amount of money has to be given as part of some funds and various other amenities such as bicycles and other stuff which shall be given by the college
  • There are so many things that are provided by the college at Government's expense that fees does not become an issue
  • Besides, Cadets get monthly allowance to take care of mess bills and other fees that may be levied on them
