Placements and Internships
- I haven't done any internship. No company visits for internships, student have to search for it.
- Placements are not so good. Only few people get placed in on Campus drives and only few companies visits the campus mainly due to its location.
- Average package for those students is around Rs. 3 lakh per annum. Alumnies of GJU are working in good companies at good posts but there is no network present here to communicate with those alumnies.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 4 boys' and 4 girls' hostels.
- Hostel fee is around Rs. 10,000 per year with Security charges.
- Some hostels are average some are good.
- PG's are also good outside college which costs around rs. 3000-4000 with the food included.
- Food in college is not good.
- Messes are contract based and food is charged as per meal basis.
- Food cost is not high but quality is also low.
- Classrooms are okay.
- Labs are also okay.
- Library is good you will find most of the standard good books with good quality.
- WiFi is awesome with great download speeds. No LAN connectivity in hostels only WiFi.
Academics and Faculty
- Classes start at 9 am and all of it depends on Time Table which is given by department and it may be till 4:30 which includes Labs etc.
- There are 3-4 lab subjects in every semester and there is 1 Lab for those each week.
- Assignments depends on teachers and they don't even check the plagarism of that. 1 assignment can be copied multiple times (that is what happened in most of the engineering colleges in India). There are 2 mid sem exams and Final exams usually conducted in December and May for corresponding semesters.
- As I am a Computer Science student, we get to submit 3 projects in our entire course (1 major and 2 minor).
- About quality of teaching it is not as good as senior faculty and professors are busy in their research and visiting faculty teaches most of the subjects which is somewhat average.
Overall experience was good, atleast here I got to know me well and how to work hard and succeed on your own. Nobody is going to help you.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee is about Rs. 50,000 per year.
- The hostel fees is Rs. 10,000 per year.
- No scholarship is provided to General Students.
- Loans are not needed. But if your family income is less then you can apply for TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver).

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To apply one must give JEE Mains and can apply through HSTES Haryana State Online Counseling or through physical counseling. There might not be any problem in getting CSE branch here.
