- Very few placement opprtunities are present in the department.
- No alumni network is available in the department.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The University of Delhi [DU], New Delhi college infrastructure is good.
- The hostel fees is around INR 4500 per month.
- The college does'nt provide food at all.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine is very exhaustive at University of Delhi [DU], New Delhi. We have regular classes and presentations.
- The quality and method of teaching is very high.
- Overall experience in college is superb.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee per year is around INR 4500 at University of Delhi [DU], New Delhi.
- Very few scholarships are available to the students.
- I don't think loans are needed.
Clubs and Associations
- There is just a film society in the department for screening movies in the foreign languages.
- University of Delhi [DU], New Delhi College life, in general, is very tough and tiring.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For Msc Microbiology there are 12 seats in Department of Microbiology, University of Delhi. 6 seats are based on merit basis and the remaining 6 through an entrance examination conducted by the university. Eligibility for entrance examination is Bsc general or Hons in any branch of life sciences or medical sciences from any UGC recognized university with a minimum of 60% in the qualifying exam. For merit basis, the eligibility is Bsc Hons Microbiology from the university of Delhi with a minimum of 60% in the qualifying exam. Cut-offs vary. For the year 2016 entrance examination 72 was the highest score.
