College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 10 hostels in total, 5 girls and 5 boys hostels. 1 girls and 1 boys hostel is reserved for research scholars. Hostel fees vary from hostel to hostel, average is Rs. 1,000 per month.
- PG's or other accomodation is not available and is not required also.
- Food varies from hostel to hostel, still it can be called average. Food cost is included in the hostel fees.
- Classrooms are average, nothing too modern. Library is somewhat average, it does not have a lot of books, but has all the required ones. Wi-Fi is available but does not work properly
Academics and Faculty
- Classes generally start from 9 A.M and end by 4.30 P.M. Each lecture is of 2 hours and a break of 1 hour in between.
- The teachers are very qualified and have a great grasp of knowledge of the subject. We have blackboard based lectures. But do not expect any extra help out of the classes. Very few teachers do that.
- I can say my experience in college was mediocre. Though I enjoyed my classes, but I felt most of the teachers were partial towards few students.
Fees and Scholarships
- I had to pay Rs. 13,000 at the time of admission, and Rs. 12,000 every semester.
- They do not have any scholarship of their own, but the govternment based scholarships are available.
- All the reserved category students get scholarships (not the General students)
- Loan is not needed.
Clubs and Associations
- Most of the clubs in the University are dormant.
- Main festival is Techxetra (Tech festival). We also haVE sports week and Cultural week.
- College life is good. You can showcase you talent in various festivals. Being a closed campus, the college helps to maintain a friendly atmosphere. Every festival is enjoyed by the students.
