Placements and Internships
- I have not done any internship yet.
- Some of the local companies offer jobs to our college students. Also, companies like wipro, TCS also conduct campus interviews.
- The last batch placed in wipro had an average package of Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum and highest salary package was Rs 12 lakhs per annum.
- Alumni network is quite good, all students get placed for in plant training programme in the last semester of the programme through alumni contacts only.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two boy's hostels and one girl's hostel whose yearly fees goes to Rs 60,000 per annum.
- Other options like PGs outside college costs Rs. 8,000 to 10,000 per month, including meals.
- Food in college is satisfactory. It costs up to 50 rupees per meal.
- Classrooms are good, labs, libraries are the best.well, Wi-Fi is not available to all, those who use it has to pay for it.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine is not very hectic. College timings are 8:15 am to 3:15 pm. Practicals, projects and exams are generally organized during college hours.
- The quality of teaching is good. The teaching methodology is outcome based, so learning is easier.
- Overall, its great to be an MITan.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fees is around Rs. 90,000/- per year.
- Only scholarship option is the one offered by government of India which is given on the basis of casts of the students.
- On an average, 50% of students get scholarship.
- Sometimes, loan is needed and its not really easy to avail it. The banks like SBH and SBI are preferred by students while applying for loans.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility is 12th or diploma pass. There are no entrance exams conducted. There are cutoffs. However, it does not affect the admission process.
