Placements and Internships
- Being in the first year I have not yet done any internship.
- The college has a very good placement cell which works hard to get the best companies. Being an Institute specializing in Information Technology, several IT companies visit the college for placements for eg. Amazon, Microsoft, Barclay's, Zomato, SAP, Paytm among others. Students are placed for jobs that require them to do programming, web development etc.
- The average salary package is around Rs 5 lakhs per annum with the highest package being Rs 24 Lakhs per annum. The placement percentage for Computer science students is 99% (many get more than one offer).
- The alumni network is decent enough and we frequently see alumni visiting the college to interact with students. Some of them have established their own startups and come to hire the students during the placement season.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are three girls hostels(with capacity of 400+ each) and two boys hostels (one with 4 floors having capacity of 400 and one having 19 floors with capacity of more than 2000. The fees is Rs 50000 per semester.
- There are not many PGs nearby but the ones which are there are quiet good though their rent is quiet high.
- The food is mostly good with a large variety of food items. The cost for hostellers is free while day scholars have to pay 50 rupees per meal.
- The quality of dining hall, library etc etc is world class. There ais a high speed wifi WiFi connection with Cisco routers (the best routers) installed for connectivity. The auditorium is extremely large and looks splendid.
Academics and Faculty
- The academic curriculum of the college is extremely flexible and is of international standards. Students have been given a choice of subjects right from second year onwards. Class timings are quiet reasonable leaving lots of room for breaks. The faculty is highly qualified and is very helpful. The institute uses state of the art technology for teaching purposes and the labs have computers with latest configuration.
- The learning experience as a whole is awesome. The only problem is the fact that there are too many examinations which happen almost every month. But apart from that the academics of the college can compete with the best.
Fees and Scholarships
- The tution fees is Rs 1.3 lacs per annum and the development fees is Rs 55,000 per annum.
- There are scholarships for students whose family income is less than Rs 1.5 lac.
- Every year about 100 students avail the scholarship.
- Loans can be easily availed from Axis Bank which has a tie up with the college.
