Placements and Internships
- I have done a research intern last summer but no stipend was provided by the professor.
- Not many companies visit campus, but some of them are Arista Networks, Amazon etc.
- Average salary figure for last year was around Rs 10-12 lakhs per annum.
- Alumni network is not that active now.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 4 hostels are there in my college, hostel rooms are little bit conjusted as we are not in permanent campus and hostel fee is Rs 6000 per semester.
- Not much PGs are available here.
- Food in the mess is fine and they cost around Rs 90 per day.
- Quality of classrooms are not very good as we are staying in the transit campus.
Academics and Faculty
- Classes are from 8am to 6pm, after that I carry on with homework, assignments and other stuff.
- About Quality I would say that its just guidance we get from teachers rest is our part to complete.
- Overall experiece is not so good but just fine, I had more expectation prior to admission.
Fees and Scholarships
- Rs 1.25 lakh per semester is the course fee.
- Merit Cum means scholorship is available.
- Top 20-25% of total students get scholarship.
- Yes, some people need while some does not, by the way, I have taken loan from State Bank of India to complete the studies.
Clubs and Associations
- There are so many active clubs like coding club, astronomy club, literary club, robotics clubs, quiz and puzzle club, music club etc.
- There is only cultural fest celebrated every year.
- Overall college life is good.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are held regularly at Indian Institute Of Technology, assignments, and project is given on regular interval. The exams are held monthly and semester exams are held once in a semester. The faculties are quite experienced and skillful.
Academics & Faculty : Computer science is the most preferred branch by the students, but electrical and mechanical branches have better faculty at Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar. Overall experience on campus is good.
