College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The college infrastructure is very good. A perfect lab set up full of instruments and good library facilities are there. There are a lot of books and journals in the library. Good hostel facilities are there with separate arrangements for Boys' and Girls'. The College campus consists of various trees, which makes the campus green.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
WBJEE or JEE Main rank are valid for admission. And the college admission fees is very low.
Academics and Faculty
All the courses follow the syllabus of MAKAUT. Besides the syllabus, the department also conducts special classes and sessions for the syllabus beyond the curriculum. Authority faculties are there to guide the students for the semester and other GOVT examinations. From the 2nd year onwards, students get the taste of doing different innovation projects.
Fees and Scholarships
College helps the students to avail different GOVT scholarships and also assists the students with Bank loans. Students have to pay 2.93 lakh for a four-year B.Tech course in Electrical Engineering. College also Will help the students to get the GOVT scheme of student credit cards.
Clubs and Associations
Different festivals are celebrated in College Campus like Rabindrajayonti, Nabobarsha, Saraswati Puja, Biswakarma Puja, etc. Science Curnival, a cultural fest also conducted every year. In addition, various clubs like the innovation club, the Photography club, NSS Club, Energy Club, etc., are in college to regularly conduct different programs.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 1) Admission to the B.Tech program under MAKAUT is based on the merit standing of applicants in the entrance exam like WBJEE conducted by the Govt. of West Bengal and JEE MAIN. 2) 85 % of the total intake is through WBJEE, and 15 % is through JEE MAIN, depending on the qualified rank as per AICTE and MAKAUT. 3) Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 with the combination of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) for the general category and 40% for the reserved category. 4) Candidates must secure pass marks in English. 5) Candidates may take admission either through the process of WBJEEB counseling or can take direct/provisional admission based on HS results and the rank obtained in WBJEE/JEE MAIN.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : In addition, students must score at least 50% marks in Class 12 to be eligible for B. Jelet. The official notice has declared that ECE Cut Off for Prelims 2020. Only those candidates who scored above the Prelims cutoff had qualified for the Mains stage of the exam.
