I did an internship at Oasis Fertility, a chain of IVF centres having its headquarters in Hyderabad. My role was related to social media marketing, and the internship helped me gather a great experience in this field. Having specialized in marketing, I would like to mention the names of the key companies and roles in marketing that were offered during the placement season. Companies like Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Photon, Aurobindo Realty, HDFC, HDFC Life, SBI Life, IDBI, Talentsprint, Mordor Intelligence, etc., arrived on our campus for placements. Most of the roles were related to B2B and B2C sales. However, a few of these roles were also related to market research and digital marketing.

The hostel rooms are decent and spacious. In the case of a three sharing room, the hostel fee is INR 1 lakh per annum, and the mess fee is INR 77,500 per annum. The quality of food is good, and there are several canteens as well. Overall the infrastructure is great with wifi-enabled hostels, and the classrooms and libraries are very spacious. If you are a book lover, then you will surely love spending your time in the library as you get to explore a large number of books with different genres.

The first step of the admission procedure is to take a SNAP test generally conducted during December every year. The cut-off for this exam lies between 60-65%. After clearing the cut-off, a candidate needs to clear 3 more rounds- A written ability test, a group exercise, and a personal interview to get the final call for admission.

The class timings are from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. The quality of teaching is really good because after explaining the concepts and theories of a particular topic, we are provided with case studies to understand the practical aspects of these concepts. The teachers are highly qualified, holding PhD degrees in their respective fields. There are several assignments, presentations, and projects that are given during the program. These projects help in honing various skills like team management, time management, presentation skills, communication skills, etc., over a period of time. Overall it has been a great learning experience at SIBM Hyderabad.

The main fests of the college involve Firande(the cultural fest) and Elysium(the sports fest). The college ensures that along with academics, a student can enhance their overall personality.
