College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two hostels (boys and girls) separately with enough rooms for students to stay.
- The food quality in the hostel is not great, but it's good, but the food offered in the cafeteria is very good. It costs upto INR 70 to INR 80.
- Every morning they clean the restrooms and classrooms. We have good lab and library facilities. The wi-fi is available, but since many students use it, the speed is often slow. The infrastructure is amazing, and the Swachh Bharath is diligently followed.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility was passing the 12th standard.
- I didn't attend any entrance examination.
- The cutoff was 70%.
Academics and Faculty
- Every day the class start at 9.40 AM and the facilities are on time.
- They give us different assignments, presentations and seminars. They use the smartboard method and help us understand better.
- Even though there are smart boards, faculties encourage us to go to the library and read books.
Fees and Scholarships
- Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, [SKASC] Coimbatore Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 60,000 per annum.
- Yes, they offer scholarships for OBC and MBC categories.
- The students can apply for loans from banks to study. But it is hard to get a loan due to the pandemic.
Clubs and Associations
- There are so many clubs like music club, health club, NCC, NSS etc. The clubs keep the students engaged in extracurricular activities.
- The college gives importance to everything (cultural, sports, education, etc.).
- College life here is beautiful. You come out of the college with so many memories with not just friends even with faculties who are strict but friendly and understanding.
