HHO Exam 2024

Humming Bird Hindi Olympiad (HHO) is designed for class I to XII students across CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or any other recognized Board in India. Students have to follow their relevant class syllabus to prepare for the exam. Questions are asked based on Hindi Grammar. Humming Bird is also the first organization to conduct olympiads in regional languages in India, supporting state boards and their students. From 2020, Humming Bird Education has started two new sets of exams. They are language exams (for 6 languages) and Educator Excellence Olympiad (EEO).

What is Humming Bird Hindi Olympiad Examination (HHO)?

HHO is the Humming Bird Hindi Olympiad conducted to test students' proficiency in Hindi. It consists of multiple-choice questions in which the students have to choose the correct option out of four choices.

There is no negative marking for the wrong answer or for leaving a question unanswered. There are 40 subject-based questions and 20 intelligence-based questions designed to test the student's higher-order thinking skills with a total exam time of 60 mins.

Level 1 Exam

  • The deadline to apply for the HHO exam commences 30 days before the exam date.
  • HHO level 1 exam results will be released in January 2024.

Qualification Criteria for Level 2 Exam

  • 75% or above in the level one examination.
  • Top ten class-wise in the state.
  • First and second in the class in a particular school if at least ten students have taken part in the school.

Level 2 Exam

  • HHO level 2 exam will be conducted in the first week of February for students who will qualify for the HHO level 1 exam.
  • The list containing the names of the students who qualified for the level 2 exam will be sent to the school and can also be checked on www.olympiads.co.in.
  • Level 2 exam results will be released in the last week of March or the first week of April (tentative).

HHO 2024 Exam Dates

Students registering for the HHO exam can take the exam at the convenience of their home with a stable internet connection and laptop or personal computer. The registration cost for Humming Bird Hindi Olympiad is INR 200.

HHO Exam 2024 Registration

The application form is divided into 3 parts. Students should first get the Parent Consent Form signed by their parents and submit it to the School Coordinator along with the appropriate amount. The school has to register itself using the School Registration Form (first part of the Registration Booklet) and then fill in the names of the interested students in the Student Registration Form (the second part of the Registration Booklet).

Details of HHO exam registration are as follows.

  • The coordinator should attach the Parent Consent Forms to the Registration Booklet and then send it via post (offline) or through email (online) to Humming Education (P) Ltd.
  • Payment for HHO 2024 Registration can be done online or sent in form of a Demand Draft via post.

HHO Exam 2024 Syllabus

The syllabus helps students by bringing them face to face with the topics on which questions will be asked in the exam and help them better prepare themselves for the exam (examination name).

HHO 2024 Syllabus can be found in the free book and app, which is given to students after registration. The mobile applications contain a large number of audio and video tutorials that students can use.

HHO Exam 2024 Admit Card

HHO 2024 Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website. Students can log in to Humming Education's student profile and free using their registration number as the username and password.

Students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without a hall ticket. Students are requested to print a hard copy of the admit card after downloading it from the Humming Education portal.

HHO Exam 2024 Results

HHO results will be available on the official website of Humming Bird. Results will also be sent to the respective schools by email and as hard copies. Students can inquire their school coordinator about the result.

The result will not be displayed if the student has filed an incorrect registration number in the OMR sheet. Such students may contact the school authorities for their results. Candidates will also receive a participation/rank holder certificate and a Student's Performance Report (SPR) along with the HHO 2024 Result.

Key Changes of HHO 2024

The HHO 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 6 different dates between September to December. Schools can choose their date of choice. Interested candidates can write the exam after they register themselves 30 days before the exam. The HHO 2024 will be conducted online as a computer-based exam. The results of the exam will be released in January and March.
